We are deeply devastated about Lisa
We are deeply devastated about Lisa, our Siamese cat.
This is a very sad day for my family and me, and everyone that Lisa has touched.
The doctor has just informed us that she passed away. She had acute leukemia.
She was 12 years old.
I'm totally devastated and not sure how I will get through this and how to tell my teenage daughter about this.

Thanks everyone for all your comforting words. I'm finding it very hard at the moment and not doing well at all. We just broke the news to my daughter and she has taken it very bad, as expected because she adored her.
I'm sorry for your lost. Blessed her soul. She's safe and no longer suffering. Hugs.

Oh Ivy ! So sorry.. I know how a pet becomes your family, & it is a loss of a family member. Hope she did not suffer much & go thru too much pain.

I'm very sorry to read about your loss of Lisa, and I understand your
desperation..
even if we allways were/are surrounded by many cats, the loss of one affects us so much.
24 days ago our dear Prince passed away. he went under a car, but succeeded in a miraculous way drag himself home.
he layed under the pouring rain all night, waiting for us to find him.
I try to dry him, I try to warm him, I took him to the
veterinary...
he looked at me, put his head down and just passed away.
It touched us so much,realizing that he wanted to come home, to not worry us, thinking were he could have disapeared.
Prince is burried in our garden together with all other catfriends we have had.
I will make a pray for your Lisa, dear Ivy.

Oh Ivy, I'm so sorry to hear this. I have lost pets in the past and it's so difficult because they quickly become part of the family. Sending you a big hug.
