Lemon curd is a dessert spread and topping like a velvety custard, usually made with citrus fruit, zest and juice of lemons or even limes, oranges or tangerines, butter, eggs, corn flour (starch) and sugar. It can be eaten as it is, or served as a spread on bread or biscuits or as a filling for pies, tarts or cakes.
Beer bread is one of the most easy breads to make and the taste is amazing. Beer makes the dough bubbly an you will have the most delicious, homemade loaf of bread on the table in less than two hours.
Tiganopsomo, which means fried bread is very easy to make. All you need is any kind of yeasted bread dough, which is fried in olive oil. Some times it is filled with cheese, such as feta or any other hard Greek cheese but when it is not filled, it can turn into a dessert by sprinkling some honey or icing sugar and cinnamon on top.
Tyropita me Maratho means cheese pie with wild fennel. This is a traditional cheese pie, which my mother in law used to make with feta cheese and fennel.
In the summer I love making these sauces/spreads which are thinner than jams and less sweet and use them on top of desserts but they are also perfect for breakfast.
Halloumi-graviera pull-aparts are individual filled bread placed next to each other and baked so that when baked they join into one large bread which can easily be separated by pulling each piece.

containers for various savoury or sweet fillings.
Focaccia is an Italian flat oven-baked bread product, similar in style and texture to pizza dough. It is very similar to the Greek flatbread named lagana , which I have posted some time ago.
