Chocolate karydopita

This walnut cake is one of the most delicious, Greek cakes which is based on the traditional recipe for Karydopita.

Chocolate and Beetroot Karydopita is a twist of mine to a traditional Greek Cake made with walnuts and then moistened with a syrup.   The addition of chocolate and beetroots is my addition.
