We Already Have 1060 Recipes.

I am a AA blogger

Today I realized that I am totally an A A in blogging.

This morning (as early as 7 a.m.) when I opened my computer I read some of the comments I received during the night and  later on I got an e-mail from a friend that she was trying to leave a comment but could not upload my site. I tried to go back to my site and I could not either. After trying for several hours I decided to contact my host who told me that it was not due to the server but a wider problem with the telecommunications and it could take hours or even days for the problem to restore.

I felt that I lost everything, like someone cut off my right hand and I was crippled, I was desperate. Every hour I kept trying to upload the page but there was nothing there. I was even more disappointed.

Finally, after lunch I decided to take a nap as I had nothing else to do and the first thing I did when I woke up was to check again and see if the problem had been restored.

What a relief, what a joy. I can communicate with you again and to show you how happy I am I have a special treat.

I have an award to pass on. Nuria, of Spanish Recipes, passed on the Brillante Weblog Award to me a few days ago.

Brilliant Weblog is a prize given to sites and blogs that are smart and brilliant both in their content and their design. The purpose of the prize is to promote as many blogs as possible in the blogosphere.

Here are the rules to follow :
When you receive the prize you must write a post showing it, together with the name of who has given it to you, and link them back.
Choose a minimum of 7 blogs (or even more) that you find brilliant in their content or design.
Show their names and links and leave them a comment informing they were prized with ‘Brilliant Weblog’.
Show a picture of those who awarded you and those you give the prize (optional).

I am passing it on to all of you who make my day by leaving a comment because I just realized that I can’t live without you all.

Have a nice weekend!!

Peter, I cannot image you being alone with all those comments you get every day. However, it’s nice to communicate with your friends every day.

Deeba, I hope I won’t be having these problems again. Thanks for your kind words my precious friend.

  4. I talk to my mom & dad on the computer in the morning who are on the other side of the country. The day doesn’t seem to go well if I have had computer problems..I feel your sense of loss:D

Val, it’s kind of frustrating not to be able to communicate. Thank God our internet company gives us free telephone calls for many countries so I must get your telephone numbers and call you when I have similar problems 🙂 and I am not kidding.

Whoever wants to can e-mail me with their number and if it’s in the free countries I can give you a call.

  6. Congratulations on your well deserved award…I know exactly what you mean about being cut off without internet….

  7. Ha! Ivy, you are not alone! I am just as much an addict as anyone else. I need help… 😉

  8. Ah, I know what you mean! I wish I wouldn’t, but I do! Don’t we depend too much on technology?

On the other hand, isn’t it great to be connected?
    Have a great day Ivy!

Yes blogging can become such a a part of your life, its like some part of yourself isn’t functioning when you’re kept away from it!
I have been a victim too. Except I’ve managed to de-addict my self so now I enjoy it but it doesn’t rule me.:D
